2016 Vodafone Malta Marathon, Half Marathon & Walkathon - 28th February

The 2016 Vodafone Malta Marathon, Half Marathon and Walkathon were held with another record number of participants. All went well except for the sad tragedy when Michael Freeman passed away as he was some 100m away from the finish of the half marathon. The Malta Marathon Organising Committee offers Mrs Freeman who was also participating in the Half Marathon and her family our deepest condolences. Please remember Michael in your prayers. Applications for the 2017 Vodafone Malta Marathon which will be held on the 5th of March will open on the 1st of October 2016. |

The Inspire Foundation is the Official Charity of The Vodafone Malta Marathon 2016 - Inspire works with children and adults with various disabilities such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Autism, to help them achieve the highest levels of independence. It advocates for equal opportunities and inclusion and provides various disability programmes and services to help clients achieve their full potential. You can donate whatever you can to The Inspire Foundation when you're registering for The Malta Marathon 2016.
2016 Mdina Glass Ladies Running Club 10k run & walk – 9th October (Malta's 4th largest Road Race)
The 2015 Mdina Glass LRC 10K saw a record number of participants. We aim to have another record in 2016.

2016 Express Trailers Zurrieq Half Marathon and 10Krun & walk – 13th November (Malta's 3rd largest Road Race)
Once again the 2015 Express Trailers Zurrieq Half Marathon and 10K saw a record number of participants. It just keeps on getting bigger.

2016 Urban Jungle Mdina 2 Spinola Xmas 10.8 mile traditional Road Race – 18th December (Malta's 2nd largest Road Race)
Malta’s second most popular athletic event after the Malta Marathon. It's the oldest race in Malta retaining the same route for 37 years. In 2015 we again had a record number of participants, this one also keeps on getting bigger and better.

The official closing date for each race may change in accordance to the number of applications received. Applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
